Classic Edwardian interiors are combined with bespoke, leather-padded writing desks, low ottomans and tiered chandeliers in playful colours and rooms full of natural light. The result is ambitious, beautiful, and full of life. Our hotel offers 189 luxury rooms and suites across four floors, with views over Parker’s Piece, historic Regent Street, and the hotel’s inner courtyard.

Luxury Accommodations
University Arms Cambridge, re-created in 2018 by architect John Simpson and interior designer Martin Brudnizki, offers 192 rooms and suites across four floors, with views over Parker’s Piece, historic Regent Street, and the hotel’s inner courtyard. The architecture and interiors are undeniably British and grounded in the Edwardian era – that exciting first decade of the 20th century where modernity began to tease tradition. At University Arms, this duality is manifested in spacious rooms full of natural light and a décor that features bespoke, leather-padded writing desks, low ottomans and tiered chandeliers in playful colours. The result is ambitious, beautiful and full of life.
Dining & Drinks
At Parker’s Tavern, every dish is a whimsical re-imagining of a British classic, sourced from field, fen and England's seas. This is where you will find plates piled high with Norfolk fruits de mer or suckling pig with wild mushrooms, and our special spaghetti bolognese. You can taste England on every plate.

The Bar
As an old coaching inn, Parker’s Tavern has been a meeting spot for over a hundred years. The inventiveness of our cocktail list is matched only by a famously well-stocked wine cellar. Then and now, the Bar is a place where meetings are concluded with a round of drinks, where stories are told late into the evening in the company of friends and stiff nightcaps.
The Restaurant
Borne of feasting, yet of our time, our restaurant is a meeting place, a confluence of old and new, where university hall meets velvet-upholstered club. From early in the morning until late at night, Parker’s Tavern hums with conversation, with waiters carrying plates piled high with delicious food.
